I'd start with Pump Six (which I didn't do) 'cos it has one story that reads like a prologue/prequel to Windup Girl, but yeah, either's excellent and Drowning Cities is my favorite.

AV Club, um, Virginia's "co-worker" (aka Rosa) is her boss.
Just like last week.

Rosa is Virgina's boss. She had some funny lines in an episode last season about race & status which centered on Virginia and a (white) house-cleaning client that befriends her.

Needs some heroine, me thinks. Or a good shag by his underage on-again-off-again girlfriend.

Okay episode…

Happy to see that "My Cock Rages On!!" survived the mine ambush.
Everyone else is so damn serious on this show.

Place ear to chest, you will find it present boobies.

Hey, "The Office" has really hit it's stride in its second season, this new show "Heroes" is a smash hit, how cam we possibly be doomed?

I understand Darklands (my favorite Mary Chain album, actually), as well as the quieter stuff for Psychocandy, were a reaction to all the "noise band" hype by the UK press. They went sorta concept-y ("rain, all kinds of rain") and tried to highlight the fact that they create songs, and not just noise.

Shittake happens.

Ronald Reagan (RIP?) for his re-election campaign.
Thought it was weird he used "Born in the USA" even as kid, considering how bitter the song is.

"Why are there three ghosts punching each other in the balls?"

I agree. She openly acknowledges Laura and Ted's mutual attraction in her conversation with the Ted in the park.

Exactly. If Brady, Moss, Belichick (hell, throw in Seau) couldn't win it last time, and considering how this year's team stumbled past the Ravens, why not?

Hardison's comment after Wil "Chaos" Wheaton's request for some Counsellor Troi cosplay was funny too.

I dunno… she does look-on rather "my evil plan is unfolding nicely…" as Colette and Dean argued at the end of the episode.

It's us, Manchester. The Europa League's great. Hope your neighbor, Arsenal, can join us too.

Gazeeeeeboooo…

"Game over."
