tRump is an idiot and a traitor, so is anyone that supports him.  I don’t care how many mouth breathing fucking morons voted for him.

Won’t be any salmon either. Just when we got them back into some long-extinct waterways, too.

Facts, shmacts. You can use facts to prove anything that’s remotely true.

Well water tastes better with arsenic and methyl mercury. At least at first, before you die days later. Bring back the leaded paint and leaded gasoline!

“We will restore US energy dominance”

Lasers communicate slower than the speed of light (in a vacuum) when passing through air. The speed of light, whilst a constant, changes drastically depending on the refractive index of the medium through which it is passing.

This is basically what happened in Round 1.  I’m not so sure they will make the same mistake twice, sadly.

This is the most thought provoking comment (to me anyways), on Jalopnik, in years.

The article is conflating bandwidth with transmission time (which is essentially lag), and these are not the same thing at all.

I’m just hoping that the horrors that they have planned are muted by what is sure to be incompetence and infighting at every level.

For both PayPal and SpaceX, his $$$ buyin agreements specified that he was to be referred to as a “founder”, even though he came along after both were operating. So, his narcissism fits right in with the incoming administration.

So we’re just realizing that Elon is dumb as a stump?

the next 4 years will be awesome, I can already tell!

Yeah, it was . . . an experience. I was expecting a Ford Transit, and then there’s this huge monster sitting there..... Literally the only truck they had left to rent out. It was either that, or hauling all of my mom’s enormous collection of books in our cars back and forth for hours and hours. *sigh* It was December;

Not only that, but I’ve driven a 27' box truck (I don’t know the full length of the vehicle) with a car carrier (about 20' long) over 300 miles on public roads with zero training.

There was a horrendous tragic accident a number of years ago where most of a big extended family died when their huge articulated RV (rented, apparently) went off the road. A 17-year old was taking his turn driving. Not for fun; it was just his turn. Everybody in the family with a license had taken a turn, in the

Everything up through Class 6, IIRC, requires no special license, as long as you’re not a commercial operator. I once drove one of those things because they were all out of the smaller trucks at Penske. I was *extremely* glad it was a very short distance that I had to go, because I didn’t feel very well equipped with

Yeah, it blows my mind.  Even full size pickups and SUVs should require advanced licensing but apparently the country is more worried about kids drinking Bud Light and becoming Trans.

Sold for $16k on BaT in September. It’s worth $4k more two months later? ND.

I’d rent it for a track day. ND for anything else.
