They were armed and tried to steal an expensive Porsche, not someone's Austin Morris. I'd say they were professional (really not) car thieves. Thankfully, morons.

Thanks for the extra information. The controller should probably be retrained (or fired), but if he told SWA to expedite departure (iirc Tower can ask “are you ready for immediate departure” and only clears them thus - and expects the readback of “cleared for immediate”) then he is not the only one to blame.

Interesting read. It still tells me that - at best - the EMB 120 is a finicky, unforgiving aircraft with heavy maintenance demands.

Whatever points I wanted to give the thieves for using a Rogue I have to detract (and then some) for them being morons. They steal cars and can only drive automatics??! LOL

Same thing happened to me!

All joking aside, the EMB 120 seems to have a pretty bad track record.

The engine looks unrecoverable.

Really? People would welcome the disappearance of cheap airlines? No more 150 euro tickets to Malaga? No more fruit and vegetables all year round? No 24-hour shopping? More expensive energy? Fewer cars? Reduction of plastics? No more cheap clothing? And much more? I am not saying these are bad things, I just doubt

You would develop the villain as a sketchy scenario proposal and then blow the money on Rolls Royces and houses (by which I mean coke and meth, really), right?

You can fly, you can shoot, you can mine, you can loot”!

Red Dead Redemption 2.

Seems even Canadian CAB. Who knew...

Are we screwed? In 10 years’ time, is it just going to be forever games and stupid, repetitive, vapid shooters? Or - worse! - mobile gacha games on all platforms?

Thanks!

Cool. I'll grab it. I got the Paris one for free, but it was horrendous. Hope this one's better, but can't complain about free fare really.

Hey, thanks for the reply (I’m not insulted at all). The deck just resets after every play-through. Cards are unlocked, but you still have to play through the same levels, with the same mini- and maxi-bosses, the same events over and over again.

Maybe I didn’t get Slay the Spire, but I found it repetitive - and not in the good, rogue-like way. Nothing carries over to the next playthrough and I got tired of playing the same levels over and over.

Well, the pop-ups for Mirage might actually make Odyssey a slightly less bad and boring game.

Great article and delightful comments. Thank you all!
