So you’re saying (micro)transactions for real money invariably are shitty and oftentimes get exploited? I'm in shock!

It is “respect my authoritAH”, but everything else is correct. Carry on.

Mediocre trolling attempt, 3/10

That sounds promising, I really hope we can find cures for addiction (and many other things). As an aside, dopamine does not raise happiness. It raises alcohol’s (in this case) salience, significance. Thus, alcohol becomes more important, desired and consumed.

Except this particular tactic is costing them votes. Military votes.

Yea, I'd hate to eject only to find out my aircraft killed 10 people on the ground..

Most Europeans would rather set their hair on fire than drive 1000 miles. I certainly would and I have a nice full head of hair. I’ll take fast trains to Berlin or Frankfurt or Paris (let’s call it 400-500 km), but anything longer than 3-4 train-hours is too far. Then I fly.

Thanks for the picture too :)

Is tripping over your own feet while trying to pet a dog interesting?

I like the “1 is a critical fail” rule and do use it. However, I never enforce it rigidly and it almost never creates an inescapable state of failure. Also, because I use rolls sparingly (unless my players are trying insane things), ones come up very rarely - and make for fun situations. I never. Ever. Use the stupid

Yea... and photogammetry scenery for one city can be 2, 3 GB. One detailed airport, 6 GB. Etc.

I’m listening. I'm always looking to improve my DMing.

Came for this, first comment. I'm happy.

I can’t speak for BG, but I disagree with your last sentence. The players create the story with their actions. The DM provides the framework, sure. And framework means just that. The player is presented with a situation (DM storytelling) and declares an action to overcome it (player storytelling). The DM then must

What I posted doesn’t conflict with storytelling, it actually helps it. Stopping the action (storytelling) every five minutes for an inane roll derails the game. Look at these two examples (bit of text coming your way, sorry):

I guess you mean that I am not a good DM. Which is fine. I DM 2 groups, who seem happy and play in another. I’d love to hear your opinion - not of my DMing, but on why you think my statements above make for a bad gaming experience.

A good DM doesn’t operate like this. A good DM wants the players to experience the most interesting possibilities, especially if they’re trying something as weird as throwing feces at a goblin”.

Thanks.

Jesus. Well, my installation of MSFS alone like 700 GB...

I can’t decide if the truck is stand-out beautiful or butt-ugly. As to the price, I have no idea. It looks clean and taken care of (the car, not the price), but I will abstain.
