I recently watched this for the first time, and I found it pretty good; not nearly as bad as I was lead to believe, but it's not nearly as great as the recent re-evaluation is trying to push. It's a good enough film to recommend, but there are much, much better films like this out there.

I had taken a lot of time off of a large swath of the internet until recently, and it's articles like this that were the catalyst for that; the opinion of Cleese is disappointing, yes, but the tone of this article is just...toxic.
