I have to agree with the rest that this isn't a practical "hack."

The Logitech Harmony 900 is RF. I'm very happy with mine.

"just under legally drink in most states" should be "drunk"

VOTE: Logitech Harmony 900

What's amazing to me is that some of this stuff has to be pointed out.

This is such a terrible article. Nothing like pushing your own subjective bias onto the rest of the world, in the name of supposed "good taste."

Bingo. I wish this article called this out more clearly.

It's not that nobody can make a big, slim battery. But where are you going to put it? Motorola had to redesign their phone around the battery.

Yes, they were just too cheap. The bulk of NFC is contained in the phone (the actual chips), but the cheap little NFC antenna goes into the battery.

This isn't dancing WITH the booth babes. This is dancing NEAR the booth babes.

"I'm going to go out on a limb and say that ICS probably wasn't designed with a 1GHz single-core processor in mind"

Actually, probably the most common use will be sports photography. Night games, indoor games, bad weather all create poor lighting conditions and you need a lot of shutter speed to freeze the action.

I would tend to use that "savings" portion towards credit cards - IF you have credit card debt.

Gosh, what a useful table. Question marks under all of the important columns and a nebulous "dual core processor" reference.

Has anyone but me realized that it's cheaper to pay for the $10/month 75mb data, and then pay per gigabyte unless you're using the full 5gb or more?

You can get it over $100 cheaper if you shop around! I wonder if Sears will price match?

A 5k camera isn't 1080p. A 5k camera is 5120x2700, or about 13 megapixels. 5120 pixels / 300 ppi = a maximum horizontal resolution of ~17" at 300ppi. That's a pretty good print.

I've been very happy with Backblaze.

The lack of universal copy-and-paste is really a glaring hole. In the places where it is implemented, it's horrendous - you have to swipe and pray that you started and stopped in the right place.

It's still the best search engine available, but it's definitely becoming harder and harder to get past affiliate links/spam sites when you're searching for product related content.
