Still my favorite superhero film after all these years. Looks like I’m going to have to pop in my blu-ray tonight. :)

This console generation hammered the final nail in its own coffin. Aside from specific exclusives many games have been released for PC within six to nine months and run better on my budget rig (Core i5 and GTX970) than on my PS4 Pro. As added bonuses I get the best discounts in the industry and a better modding scene.

Whoever Wins, We Lose

I’m in the waiting for PC camp. Falcom has been really diligent about releasing all of its games on Steam (in a DRM-free form) so that’s where my Ys collection is, and that’s where it’ll stay. If I have to wait a bit longer for NIS to finally hammer out frame-rate drops and other performance issues, so be it.

Check this one out:

This sounds way better than the real thing aside from the Gacha character mechanic, which has been really overplayed in mobile FF games (also I love how Gacha coincidentally sounds like “gotcha” as in “gotcha, suckers”).

Not shocked to hear about the cheapness at all. The Vita remake of Final Fantasy Adventure felt just awful to play. Didn’t have much hope for this.

I want to begin by making it very clear: there is no excuse for threatening someone’s life, period. Also if you receive death threats you should contact the authorities immediately. The only way this problem will end is when these people start being charged with crimes and spend some time in jail. Unfortunately I’ve

Dear everyone:

I wish I could be that hopeful. I’ll be very surprised if after a year of exclusivity the competitor gets a better product. We’ll see.

A full year?!

I’m still in White Orchard. Mostly because I started late, and once they announced 1.07 I figured I’d wait a bit more. Now that the better control scheme is in I’ll have to find some time to play.

Holy crap!

This is one of the dangers inherent in depending upon a single proprietary service/product. Yes, Flash’s development interface made it easy to build games, but it’s not the only game in town anymore, if you pardon the pun.

Glad I’ve put off really digging into the game. I can wait a bit longer for the patch to hit. :)
