It doesn't me. Fuck all that military fellatio at the DNC and the endless military worship that came post-Khan. It's gross but fitting for Madame War Criminal at the helm of the ticket. Guess you'll have lots of opportunities to make the families of pawns of the empire feel good about how their children died for

ok, suuuure.

Indeed, me as well. There is always a segment of people watching any show ostensibly about rom com who are desperate about love or desperate to justify their relationship decisions and you'll find them trying to make some creepy relationship into the next great American love story. Invariably.

People shipping a sleaze ball like Adam is some next level sad.

That was my first thought as well, basically: "Well, there goes the show off all the queer tv roundup sites".

I concur + his drug use seems to have completely abated, so that lends to rehab. Also, if it was prison, the rest of the world would know a whole lot more about what is going on even if Elliot never told them anything.

Precisely, beehive mentality it is. Problem is, on TV forums, once that ball starts rolling it's impossible to stop.

I mean, pot kettle black and all that jazz.

Yeah and if you think calling him a bad writer (a truth) and offhandedly a pussy is hurting their feelings than maybe you shouldn't be hypocritical and not call people a dick?

You mean the thread between two people? LOL, ooh what a thread. Sure seems like you have an inflated sense of support for your writing in these comments.

Nah, I think Potpourri explained theirself well. Alston inspires that 'did we watch the same show?' incredulosness in lots of people.

I think his MRA status was a facade for his weakness/sadness and a thin one at that. plus MRA (repugnant as they are) does not equal physical abuser.

Well, he's one of the worst TV reviewers I've ever seen (inappropiate pussy comment notwithstanding) so the sentiment stands.

No, you're just jumping on a bandwagon of cliché hate.

Don't get me wrong, I love a lot of British TV too and can recognize its greatness (SKINS S6 is my favorite series of TV ever); but so many American British TV lovers almost in a Pavlovian way rail against American remakes as de facto inferior and are constantly vocal about it in a demeaning way.

Precisely. Amen.

*CUE THE BRITISH TV ELITIST SNOBS*

It's just you. Dude, this show is for political nerds.

It's really just the British TV loving elitist snobs who are doing that. I swear they ruin the comments on every American remake (or in this case when an American showrunner takes over for a British one) with their incessant whining. You know what? I like the American sensibility of this show better post-Ianucci.

choke on your own dick.
