It would be nice if these developers would hire real artists to cover up their ugly sprites. The era of 8-16 bit graphic style is dead.

They are. Most of them are brown and grey, a common complaint from gamers during the FPS era. Apparently, if you make a 16 bit arcade/brawler game you get a pass. Good Job gamers!

The problem with relying on a quick google search for a article is that you get crappy results. There are much more beautiful backgrounds.

Don't do this.

You sound like a complete moron. You attacked me twice for no apparent reason but I see you do that a lot on Kotaku. Get a life.

I have the right to voice my opinion, hence there being a comment section. I applaud great articles and share my displeasure with the horrible ones. Read your reply to me, apply it to yourself and don't respond to me.

I would really love to see well written, in depth writing piece that go ALONG with these type of filler articles. 4 sentences with a sentence each accompanying a picture. I know I've said it before but come on seriously... this reads like an 8th grade assignment.

Not a fan of these cookie cutter articles.

I absolutely love the 3DS. In terms of games and how much I'm having it, it REALLY reminds me of the SNES.

I just picked up DKCR 3D. CANT WAIT

I usually hate to put down someone's art but that is bad.

I think it's because a lot of the beauty was in the subtleties.

Alan Wake is a spectacular game.

One game that really sticks with you.

I don't understand why a random internet troll gets so much attention on a video game journalism website. Are we supposed to relate to him?

If you didn't experience Mario Party with a group of friends growing up, you missed out on a lot of fun.

That's why this article seems kind of pointless. It seems like you're looking from the outside in, trying to re-create the experience instead of actually living through it while growing up, when the game was brand

There is something severely wrong with everyone at EA.

There is no right way to enjoy Animal Crossing. The point where it *clicks* happens at different times and different ways for everyone.

I remember buying the gamecube version that came with memory card and being so mad at myself. I hated this game and couldn't believe I wasted $60 bucks on it. There was no gameplay,

Eternal Darkness is truly a gem.
