The other problem is that they were forced to look at things and hear about things that in other contexts could be arousing (how many millions of people have rape fantasies). But it's wholly different to be aroused and to have the proclivity to act on that arousal. This test wouldn't gauge the latter at all.

3D TVs in their current iteration, with bulky glasses and limited depth of field, are pretty worthless. When they can perfect glasses-less 3D or projection 3D (holography), then they might have something worth investing in.
