@Spartanical: I assume he means he'd be jumping in the water every 20 seconds if it looked like the above. Since you die upon entering water in that game, he'd die each time. But he'd keep doing it because it was cool.

anyone have an idea of what the sun would look like from 1.3 million miles away?

@Stradigos: there is literally no other kind of bureaucracy.

@johnny5000: The problem is that the iPhone 4 has much more extreme signal loss than those other phones, as shown be anandtech. That leads to more dropped calls.

I'll always love Fincher for Se7en, The Game, Fight Club, and Zodiac. And I actually really liked Benjamin Button. So I'll reserve judgment on this, even though it seems like a really lame idea.

Ok, now what's the msrp for the movies separately? I'll never buy alien3 or that other abomination.

@Nitemancometh: Seth McFarlane is a batshit motherfucker. I'm pissing myself over that clip.

Every time I reload Gizmodo, which is dozens of times a day, because I am bored as hell, this image freaks me out.

@Jes St.Lawrence: This is my last reply. I didn't make the fucking statement. The NASA Administrator did. I'm not interested in arguing about its truthfulness or if he has the authority to say that. What I am interested in is ridiculing this kind of multicultural ego-stroking, which is counterproductive to NASA's

The moon shadow pictures remind me of the idea of 'shadow panels' above a ringworld. Essentially, the idea is that for a ringworld around a star, the only way to get 'night' would be to have huge solar panels orbiting in tandem at a closer distance to the star. It's hard to conceive of how that would look - but I

@Jes St.Lawrence: What part of that youtube clip, which is the raw footage from Al Jazeera, has anything to do with Fox News? I don't watch Fox News.

@wolfman544: Because NASA's new primary mission is to reach out to Muslims. Fuck space travel.

@Dadjoe: Personally, I just treat it like, once the batteries die, well that's the end of the 'electronic' part of that toy.
