Devil written by MNS but directed by John Erick Dowdel looked great because it was lensed by Tak Fujimoto.

I.V.'s spoiler space discussion mentions what makes it work is the shyamalan absurdity at the centre which prevents the audience from reaching the most basic conclusion earlier.

The "two reasons I'm looking at you this way" was probably cut for the teaser trailer. It works cinematically if not realistically because House of Cards creep Michael Kelly is delivering the line.

Nathan Crowley (The Dark Knight, Inception, Hook) was the production designer.

I was laughing my head off in the theatre wondering how the hell Indy was gonna get out of this one, and the answer was something I didn't think of. It was so quick, I'm like f"ck it! I laughed my head off.

"the minor pleasure of seeing the good guys get out" - Well I better stop reading Vishnevetsky's indifferent reviews because he seems to spoil everything now.

Lester Holt wasn't great.

I just watched the pilot after having been reminded of it enough times thanks to this article and a link to amazon who gave it out for free. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot aside John Requa and Glenn Ficara seem to have mastered the modern romcomdram twist. I wonder if they'll bring it to Disney's Jungle Cruise.

The thing about Charlie and The Chocolate Factory is that, though the special f/x are better, the director and actor are capable, it hews so close to the original that it doesn't gain enough. The original is a concept that could only be good enough in its time.

I played the demo and liked it. Though many of the developers are the same they still can't get the feeling of being inside the cockpit that Need For Speed Shift had or the sound design.

I feel like Av club has coped and pasted the same smurf article every time it writes one.

The problem with Snow White in the Huntsman was its rushed third act and had the writing of The Blind Side in John Lee Hancock.

That's a decent movie. I like the atmosphere of it plus it has Will Smith at his Will Smithiest

Two of those are directed by Kurt Wimmer so blame him. I hear Aeon was really messed with.
