Nah, we don’t know that, because it isn’t true. If this is to protect America from “extremists and lawbreakers,” then why isn’t Turkey on the list? Pakistan? Mexico?
Because the Attorney General takes an oath to uphold the Constitution, not the President. She tried to uphold the Constitution, and she was fired for it.
Yes. Let’s call the people that want to accept refugees from other countries “snowflakes” (ORIGINAL!), and not Trump, the GOP, and alt right nazis like yourself, that shit their pants in abject terror afraid of a 5 year old child being a terrorist or really, anyone that isn’t a straight white male.
Feel free to get educated
Then I’ll listen.
Will you listen to Trump puppet Rudy G? “So when [Trump] first announced it, he said, ‘Muslim ban.’ He called me up. He said, ‘Put a commission together. Show me the right way to do it legally.”
Banning only Muslims from specific countries is still a Muslim ban. You assume ban means total ban.
Giuliani openly admitted that Trump asked him how to do a complete Muslim ban. Instead, Giuliani helped come up with what we have now. But that does not change the fact that Trump wanted/wants a Muslim ban.
In her confirmation hearing, Senator Sessions (who will be the new AG) questioned her about if she would stand up to the President against an order she found unconstitutional, just as AG John Ashcroft had stood against President Bush for one of his orders. She said she would. Senator Sessions said that he hoped she…

First you imply it is not a Muslim ban (despite Trump’s repeated assertions that he would institute one when he got in office and his clarification that he would prioritize Christian immigration) and then you ask if Obama had a Muslim ban too. Which is it?
It’s been made abundantly clear that what Obama did had NOTHING TO DO WITH REFUGEES.
I think that people should have more rigorous protections of their jobs, too. You know who doesn’t? Peter Thiel. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander.
It is astounding how many people don’t understand the basic concepts of how their government is supposed to work.
You can reject Trump and his positions without having to reject absolutely everyone he has every associated with.
Because the DOJ is not meant to serve the president. Although the Attorney General is appointed by the President, its function is to execute laws according to the Constitution. The acting AG stated she felt the order was unconstitutional and agreed with the court ruling affirming that so she refused to fight the order.
While I actually disagree with Turton’s Thiel obsession, your head in the sand opening line is absurd. It most certainly is a weak attempt at a Muslim ban.
Thiel isn’t an employee and political affiliation is not a protected class, so your point is, well, pointless.
Rejecting Donald Trump and his associates is a simple test of moral fortitude. Sam Altman, the 31-year-old Silicon…
