I think (I hope) Trump is easily manipulated and fickle. More than anything i think he is an actor, and will adopt a new role for his new audience. I think will be easily manipulated both by his inner circle, but also by the larger voice of the people. He wants to feel that he is “the decider” and will say “you’re

They’re plumbers. Dye isn’t the worst thing they’ve ever gotten into their eyes and mouths.

Benefits of living in a college town: I always look for the cutest cashier, then I never mind the wait.

Sarah Palin, is that you?

I always assumed NPR was wrinkling a bit at their audience when they run those interviews. We all know the woman is crazy, they just let us figure it out for ourselves. Makes their listener smart and the get to say they give equal air time.

I had a copy (of a copy of a copy of a copy) of Bleach probably after it had been been out for some time, but before Nevermind came out. I loaned it to a friend, who then ended up spending the summer in France (and I’m just now realizing how fucking rich hit family must have been to take an 8th grader abroad for an

Without absolving the kid or the cops, the portions of the brain that judge risk-taking aren’t fully developed until your early 20's. That’s why teens do such stupid shit.

She won’t even make it that long. That kind of crazy parties hard. I call alcohol poisoning on the second weekend. Winnie should have just acquiesced, that triple would have inevitably been a double before midterms.

Do you remember this one? I learned it as a kindergartner on the school bus the older elementary kids. I can’t imagine hearing my kids sing it today, but apparently the song goes back to the 1860s or earlier.

I think it’s unlikely this was and garbage that, as you say, “caught on fire,” like a bunch of oily rags in the current. More likely it was a bunch of garbage set on fire because that is how you get rid of garbage rural areas and places with poor sanitation. A straight up semantic error is no big deal to me, but it

And what that same 37% will do after the election.

TV lights are hot. It’s not too unusual to have few hundred thousand watts of light on you when you’re on set. Things are getting better with LED lights, but you can still cook an egg under the lights.

Ha! I was a super skinny kid ( didn’t break 100 pounds until sophomore year in HS), but climbing was about my one thing. Too blind for ball sports, too asthmatic to run, but with basically no body weight I could climb the rope, climb the pole, and do chin ups all day long. I wrestled in middle school, buy the opposing

For procrastinators and late evening readers, the French press deal appears to be gone, although there are five left in stock for $50 if it’s a must-have.

I’ve used bamboo flooring for a backsplash with only very minor gapping from moisture despite ten years of use in a house that already has moisture problems. It wouldn’t be noticeable if you didn’t look for it. If I was doing this with laminate flooring I might take the precaution of using a waterproof glue on the

I pay 50% over minimum wage starting in a low cost part of the country, offer PTO, 401k and partial benefits even for part-timers, and have never not approved a vacation request, even on 0 notice, so my expectations are a little higher. But as I always explain it, if you run out of toilet paper, someone is going to

I have twenty or more retail employees. None of them know how to change a fucking toilet paper roll. Even with double roll dispensers they still can’t manage it. Mostly college students. It’s mind bargling.

I posted in the original article, but feel I have to say it again: I’ve had terrible luck with this coffee maker. First one had the auto-shutoff switch fail at around a year. Warranty replacement worked about six months before it just stopped pumping. Next replacement unit was DOA. New unit lasted less than six months

The company has happily replaced mine under warranty four times. Once the replacement unit was bad out of the box. Twice the auto shutoff switch failed, which is somewhat dangerous. Great coffee, great customer service, but I’m burned on Bona Vita.
