I read Watchmen a while ago so I appreciate the review teasing out the references. Between Hollow Knight, Breath of the Wild, Horizon Zero Dawn and Night in the Woods, 2017 sparked a massive amount of gaming joy in me.

Anytime I see an app profile that gets into one of those “shallow” rants all I can think is that they’re a narcissistic control freak who will bully me as soon as they get the chance.

It was very Bojack.  It also reminded me that self-loathing can be a form of narcissism.

All I can think about is Tom Cruise negotiating a booking and screaming “SHOW ME THE TUNA WATER!”

I think his aversion to that drove AT into a unique tone (and creative headspace) that it kept after he left. The previews looked terrible but I’m kind of curious to see this in 120 FPS. Mainly because I remember giggling my way through The Hobbit at 48 FPS.
