Let me put this in simple terms here... The guy had a business arrangement to have his game published on a platform to reach a large number of potential customers that can give him money so he can profit from his product. Things are going orderly, but someone at Valve makes a mistake and wrongly labels his game. Could

Obviously this guy didn't mean it, but what if he did? Better yet, what if because they didn't take a stand against this guy, someone else threatened and made good on that threat? That's the mentality you have to take. The comparison to a kid wishing they were never born is different because that phrase literally

He seemed pretty steamed.

Threats against peoples lives should never be taken lightly, it only takes one lunatic. Also with how bitterly toxic and unhinged people related to games have been this year, I really wouldn't take that as an empty threat.

Besides what Scnew said, a previously retired industry veteran leaving the game developer he recently joined for any reason is newsworthy all on its own. I wouldn't say they should report on Trowe's legal troubles all on their own, but if they contributed to Lowe's departure from the company then they definitely have

So because this guy dislikes this game, it isn't news? How wrong he is.

The game isn't terrible, and it isn't sexually explicit. It sounds as though you don't understand the weight of the creator of one of PC gaming's most well known staples from back in the day once again departing from the company that owns it.

A terrible decision to you, but to them it meant a lot to see a series they love continued by the original creator. Hell, if Team Silent got back together and made a kickstarter to remake the original Silent Hill in HD with a new engine, I'd find the shit out of it, especially if one of the kickstarter rewards was to

You should read Al's twitter feed. He responded about the Venturebeat article where Paul incorrectly had quoted him.

He has had some issues in the past before.. Just did a Google Search on his name and there is another article out there..

For one thing this is totally newsworthy. And more to the point, Leisure Suit Larry is not overly explicit at all. It's a bawdy, humorous classic adventure game and arguably just as good as the original.

I'm pretty sure that was what got them into this mess.

BA-DUM

He seems like a guy with some issues.

To be fair, as far as I know Larry has sex with adult women, not 16-year-old girls. I can see why somebody who is totally cool with normally sexually explicit material would still hesitate to associate himself with pedophilia (or whatever the term is for young teens).

So they should have... Dropped Trowe earlier?

My lord. This is horrendous information. Cant believe this happened after all the stuff he did to his volunteers. Even the outing of a person was done publicly through Twitter: http://www.reddit.com/r/lgbt/comment…

The moral of the story is: Never send sexually explicit material to an unknown person. In fact, it's best never to send any to anybody.

A friend of mine is an ultra runner. His first race was a 40 mile marathon - on a 400m track...

Oh yeah same here. Unless it's some new game that has AAAAAALOOOOOOOOOOT of content. Maybe World of Warcraft? I don't know, comes closest to my mind. The games people claim that have 80 hour of gametime, usualy has like 40.
