Did they even make George Hill an offer? The writing was on the wall for that one once they traded for Rubio (who’s a more-than-capable replacement).

Why on earth would Gilbert agree to do that? That rumor is actually amazing in how ridiculous it is.

The difference is in the opportunity cost. Players should try and get more money because it would just go back to the owners otherwise (who don’t need it). CEOs should take less money so that it goes to the workers (who do need it).

It seems like a horrible rollout idea, IMO. I already have a Roku stick - why would I get a Chromecast, also? They should do something like give a $25 discount towards a Chromecast. Why limit your market when there’s several competitors out there offering similar services?

To be fair, pretty much anything any president does is to increase his favorability

They’re on pace to win 48 games this year. ‘Fringe playoff team’ is incredibly unfair.

Looking at these VORP numbers a few weeks ago turned me from skeptic to supporter for his MVP candidacy. He’s been unbelievably effective for them.

5-for-20 isn’t pretty, but going 13-13 for free throws makes up for it. A triple-double with more points than shots is a pretty damn good game

I’m curious - I’ve been out of the Zelda universe for almost 20 years now. I’m seeing a lot of references to Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, and less to Majora’s Mask and Wind Waker. I’m seeing virtually no references to the console games since Wind Walker even though those seemed to be universally acclaimed at the

I spent Thanksgiving weekend visiting family in New Mexico and I thought it was gorgeous. Carlsbad was great, Truth or Consequences was great, and the ‘Meow Wolf’ exhibit in Santa Fe was incredibly unique and worth spending an afternoon at.

Through this morning, I held the opinion that while what Russ is doing is incredibly impressive, he’s inefficient to the point where he may not be as good for his team as Kawhi or Harden or LBJ are for their teams.

This is totally unfair. We can’t judge Phil until we see what he does this summer.

God I miss Bojack

Yeah, they’re trying to be cute and have it both ways - a team that’s poised to win now and a future team that would be good in a few years. They should roll with the assumption that IT/Horford, etc... will not be good when the Brooklyn picks are ready to contribute. It seems personally insane to me to not get anyone

I don’t think that Colangelo is a particularly good GM, but he has been around for over a decade and even won the Executive of the Year award twice. Sure there was nepotism involved, but it’s not like he was unqualified for the job.

This is my Q. What can they possibly be spending money on?

This. It’s hard for me to have sympathy when Lebron has been the one engineering all of these deals. He complains about the team being top-heavy but that’s completely by design.
