That’s an acute condition.

A Perfect Circle’s spooky-AF version of Imagine seems like an obvious choice for some kind of religious horror flick.

Technically a square is a rhombus. It just happens to also be a rectangle.

Spike Lee’s Do (Your Own Research) the Right Thing

Stop putting things out there for people to decide for themselves. People have clearly demonstrated they aren’t ready for that much responsibility.

An interesting inversion from the Ancient Greek Olympics, where despite little to no coverage, you could see everything.

He didn't die. He just pointed and disappeared.

It’s been so long, but I randomly caught Odenkirk’s stand up act at the Tempe Improv waaaay back in either the very late 80s or very early 90s (sorry, this time sort of blended on me). I had no idea who he was and thought he was probably just some local or whatever comic, but his act was absolutely one of the best

The League of Extraordinary Ungulates!

Well, this movie seems to be drawing almost entirely from the mythology of the first movie, which is another huge mistake.

I am stealing a Twitter joke but I can not wait for The First Cow, Pig and Sheep to all come together as part of the barnyard cinematic universe

Now playing

I’ll watch but only as double feature with the wonderfully ridiculous Black Sheep.

Man, what an ep...
Unrelated to the whole donut bit, which, whoa... Watching this as a kid was really the first time I started to notice how much director choices and setting up shots could really affect a story. Like, every time they had a close-up of Dr. Crusher, you knew that in the next show whoever she was talking

It takes the fun out of things to have a universe where a God treats humans like tiny robots and programs them to say things and do things and, if the toys don’t work right, to hurt them and smash them. This show isn’t “Be better people,” this show is “If you figure out the fortune cookie then God won’t cause you so

Can we investigate the trend of these maker projects that are made solely for a YouTube audience and for no other purpose? This article adopts a tongue-in-cheek tone, but it adds no content or context of its own. It’s just a press release for a YouTube video.

When I was a kid, the science museum had a huge ellipse-shaped box, and two people could stick their heads through holes at the foci.  You could whisper very quietly, and all sound would reflect back to the other focus, so it would sound really loud to the other person.

Has to do with the mathematical properties of an ellipse. The hole is placed at one of the ellipse’s two foci (plural of focus), and the ball is placed at the other. From there, anywhere you bounce the ball will reflect it back at the hole.

Of course, if you place the ball anywhere but the focus, you don’t get the same

Toaster Strudel is so many time better than pop tarts that I don’t understand how anyone could possibly compare the two. The only reason why I don’t buy toaster strudel on a regular basis is that if I did, my kids and I would eat them every day and we’d all end up morbidly obese. That and I don’t want to listen to the

Pssht, Seinfeld's an also-ran. Paula Poundstone INVENTED the Pop Tart joke.

I think Ella’s “darkness” is an important part of the plot. Since heaven or hell is officially self-determination in this series, Ella as an example of a truly good person who might end up going to hell is, I feel, an important part of the plot in a way.  Not entirely sure how, and I think it might be redundant in the
