I loved the Ralph Mouse books! Now I kind of want to read them again, it's been so long and I remember very little.

That's because Constantine was on NBC. If it had been on Fox…
The Kwik-E-Mart is real… d'oh!
Class? That's the title? That'll have about as much appeal to sci-fi fans as the title John Carter.
You know what I'd like to see? Christian wu xia. You know how sometimes in kung fu movies or anime, there's a warrior monk, and in the middle of a fight scene, he writes a prayer on a piece of paper, sticks it to a bad guy's face, and the bad guy explodes or something? I want to see the Christian equivalent of that.
He's pining for the fjords!
…hey!
The disciples said, “See, Lord, here are two swords.”
“That’s enough!” he replied.
It can be not two things!
I'm pretty sure a theologian would say that neither Jamie nor Celine parted the Thames; God did. I don't think anybody had "powers", except possibly giraffe girl.
This is my "drop everything" movie. If it's on when I'm flipping channels, I watch it to the end.
THIS WAR IS COLD AND SILENT
OUR LOVE HAS TURNED TO VIOLENCE
I think it's pretty common in werewolf stories nowadays. There has to be some wiggle room. Mathematically speaking, the moon is only at its maximum brightness for that tiny instant of time between increasing and decreasing brightness. And even then, it's not 100% of the visible surface of the moon; Earth would have to…
I suppose there are no truly new stories. It's all about tone and presentation. I'm thinking: Glomer from the Punky Brewster cartoon (or if that's too obscure, Summer and Tinkles from Rick & Morty) versus the satanic panic of the 80's. There are satirical points to be made too.
Matchbox Twenty got back together in 2012, and "She's So Mean" was pretty catchy.
Thanks! I went through my own "crisis of faith" many years ago, and the frustration I still feel when I think about it too much often leads to bizarre story ideas like this. So… an upside? :-/
I've had a screenplay idea bouncing around in my head for a few months now. (And it's not the same one I was talking about a couple of weeks ago in "My World of Flops") We all know this familiar horror movie template: Family moves into new house; youngest child suddenly has new imaginary friend; weird events suggest…
Aw man, I just listened to her new album Wax & Gold on YouTube, and she's gone country. I considered myself a fan, and was going to get the album just for completeness' sake, but now I don't know. I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ANYMORE
She's released 4 more full-length albums since then, the most recent one last year. Her sound's been evolving. Down Here is bigger and more polished; Blink The Brightest is smaller and more poppy; Masts Of Manhatta (which I just bought last month) is more like folk music, and kind of gloomy. Haven't heard the new one.
Last week, Kyle quit the band
Now we're back together
Misunderstanding, didn't understand
It doesn't matter, now we're back together again
