There might be but you’d be surprised, there are plenty of videos where people keying cars as they go (and multiple of them). There was one when person walks into a store, walks out, notices the car and keys it.

This is standard for many “motion sensing” video recorders, they are constantly on and buffer anything from a few seconds to several minutes so the “before” footage is there. It stops people being able to creep up and disable or block cameras before committing their nasty deed. Been around for many years in the CCTV…

Correct, that way if an accident happens, it records several minutes before impact is detected to provide context.
