Serious question: is Marvel Comics imploding? Not Studios mind you, but comics. BMB gets poached, the weird (racist?) editorial stuff, Starlin out, just canceled David Walker’s Luke Cage, renumbering every six months, military propaganda, Secret Wars. Ms. Marvel is like the only good thing going over there right now.

It’s interesting to watch Coby Bell navigate this character. Right before the DOJ agents “incident” he was talking like he was about a half-step from yelling about “muties” who don’t have rights because they’re not really American and/or human (which actually would have been pretty interesting).

This was, by far, the best episode of *any* Trek in ages. Anthony Rapp deserves a place among Trek legends. He could carry the show by himself. And wow! How about those scenes between him and Jason Isaacs?! Give two great actors a great script and get out of the way. That’s what this ep did and did it ever work.
