NYCFC is a terrible name. It's too long. NYFC maybe works, but even that seems a little clunky.

Under the old BCS system, the National Championship Game probably would have been Alabama vs Florida State. Oregon and Ohio State wouldn't have had the opportunity to play for the championship.

But if they get caught taking free stuff from boosters (even a cheeseburger from McDonalds), they can't play anymore. Can you imagine telling a kid with a chemistry scholarship "sorry, you ate a free cheeseburger, you can't go in the chem lab anymore?"

Did it at least have the Rockets logo on it? I once caught a t-shirt at a minor league baseball game. It was a plain white t-shirt with a small Gap logo on the sleeve.
