My interpretation of his comment was that they are going to blame a secretary because secretaries are "replaceable." And maybe it was wrong of him to call the secretary "her" but the fact of the matter is that there are still more female secretaries than male ones.

Yeah, it's terrible. How is getting any points for his team when he's putting up zeros in every category?

So if it's on the 25 yard line, he's fine?

Elite? Not with those stats.

"I PERSONALLY don't believe in domestic violence, but, you know, to each his own. If you believe it's okay to beat up your spouse, who am I to judge?"

I don't get what the big deal is. It's a perfectly reasonable tip for a bill of 61 dollars and 56 percent.

Rule 18.1(a): Bear Exception: If the ball is placed in the hole by a bear, disregard rule 18.1. The player should write the number of strokes he took before the bear touched his ball on his scorecard.

No, I didn't take taxes into account. That's a good point. Although if you make that little, you probably don't pay income tax.

This is really the only argument that you need that the minimum wage is too low:

I love non-alcoholic apple cider, so I was excited the first time I tried hard apple cider. But so far I've been disappointed by everything I've tried because it tastes closer to wine than it does to non-alcoholic cider (granted, I've only tried the mass market stuff like Woodchuck). Does anybody have any suggestions

According to the official rules of golf, probably not. But if your playing partners don't let you count it, then you need to find more fun playing partners.

No, I think that's a legitimate question. In fact, I remember hearing that she attended a meeting between Goodell and Rice and plead for leniency. The problem is that Goodell believed what she said given the well-documented history of victims of domestic violence trying to protect their attackers.

I'm not really that concerned about whether Goodell or anyone else in the NFL saw the video prior to this week. I'm more concerned about how, having seen the original video outside the elevator, Goodell came to the conclusion that the video inside the elevator would show something other than what it did and conclude

Dan Patrick's point is exactly right. When I saw all the shock and outrage this morning, I figured that the video was really really bad, like Rice beating her to within an inch of her life or something. But the video is exactly what I thought it would be like when I saw the partial version a few months ago. So I'm

I bet Goodell wants to change it, but I would suspect that there is a CBA clause that prevents him from increasing suspensions.

On one hand, the NFLPA probably doesn't want to defend him. On the other hand, they also don't want Goodell to have to power to retroactively increase other player's drug suspensions too.

They dropped the charge. My guess is that before seeing the video they charged her with assault to make it easier to prosecute her for it later because it's easier to drop a charge than it is to bring a new one later on.

If they do change his suspension (which I kind of doubt because that sets a really bad precedent that the union and maybe even Jim Irsay will resist), it will be to 6 games (so 4 more), not to 16. Goodell said 6 games would be the new standard for domestic violence cases.

You started Josh McCown? That's your own fault. You should know better.

Who names a fantasy football team the name of a real team? So creative.
