My theory is that on other, lesser automobiles, a small impact would just crack, shatter, punch a hole, or otherwise ruin the bumper cover. But since this is an indestructible Toyota product, it just gets a little dent in it.

I had one of these - still do actually - and it was the most fun with the Wipeout games, where the controller’s odd design fit in with the futuristic theme very well.
One of the guys at my Toyota dealer’s parts counter told me once that someone determined that if you built a Toyota Camry by buying all the individual parts from the dealer, it would run about $250,000.

I own a 2005 tC and when people ask, I tell them it stands for Toyota Camry because they have the same engine. Then we chuckle mildly at my lame joke and move on.
