This reminds me of an autox I went to on a road course, they put a three cone slalom in the fastest part of the course to slow the cars and I quickly realized I could just tap the middle cone without slowing at all and take the 2 second penalty. It was far quicker than slowing the car down and accelerating again. They

Ok, I’ll call your bluff. Drive it year around for the next 365 days as shown. Come visit me up by Traverse City in January.

Not mine - Leelanau, the pinky fingernail of MI.

Those were good cars for a school, I liked the power mirrors, tilt steering and power seats making them easily adaptable compared to getting cushions stuffed behind you. I did the Sebring school.

Given they’re required to run the signage, it’s almost impossible to take a picture of the cars without getting the Tire Rack logo in it. That’s kind of the point of this, or any motorsports sponsorship.

So I can just call it a 911 and don’t have to mention it’s a 996? I’m ok with that.

That means they didn’t read my feedback.

I like it when Jason partakes in “Edibles Day” at the office.

These guys got their start autocrossing originally, HART ran a car in the SCCA CEN-DIV Solo II Series, which was a series of events thru the Mid-West. If my memory is correct, the first car was given to them and it started as a pre-production Civic shell that would have otherwise had been crushed.

I suppose if all of my friends drove into a pond, the “pier” pressure might get to me too.

“pumping the breaks” should be “pumping the brakes”

When I was at Tire Rack we had someone go and jack up the cars and removing wheels to measure for wheel fitment including scanning the wheel well. It seemed a bit audacious when I first heard about it.

I have the worlds most reasonable HOA. No farm animals (chickens allowed) and we split the cost of snow plowing the road. I’m fine with the fact my neighbors can’t become hog farmers.

The scooter is impressive, I wish would could see a conventional motorcycle in the same tests for comparison.

I totally would have let the air of the tires of the train if I were there. Wait... crap.

My subdivision (five houses on a mile long road) has an HOA that I’m ok with. It says I can’t have barnyard animals other than chickens and that we split the cost of plowing the road. But I guess we’re reasonable people. I don’t complain about the kid with the kart that bombs up and down the dead-end road, my neighbor

We had a cat years ago that had a thing for Rick Mears in the distinctive yellow Pennzoil car at the Indy 500. It was the only car he’d swat at, and he’d even look around the back of the TV to see if he disappeared back there.

This is why my wife is in charge of stuffing kids into our classic Austin Mini Cooper at car shows, we’re actively corrupting youths for a good cause.

Mine’s a lot of fun and attention getting. It’s got a 1380cc engine, suspension upgrades, roll bar - basically all the goodies. It also holds a record with the East Coast Timing Association for the standing mile in a very obscure class.

Driving a Miata on the expressway in a construction zone with the large barrels as markers, I had a clapped out Taurus tailgating me at the posted speed for the zone. I started drifting slowing in my lane from side to side and sure enough, he’d stay exactly with me. I spotted a barrel that was sticking into the open
