The rules governing Physics haven’t changed since 1928, so the age of the design isn’t a huge concern. The Wright Brothers were home aircraft builders too, so you don’t really need a real factory. BTW, I fly an “ultra modern” 1956 Cessna 172 and have a Van’s RV-12 project in the barn. The Van’s is on the far opposite

One of my first track days at Grattan Raceway in MI in 1987, hosted by BMWCCA. Coming up onto the back straight there’s a blind corner and I was following a novice in a Ferrari Testarossa who totally missed the turn-in and looped it onto the straight. He went backwards laterally across the track seemingly inches in

That’s the kind of luck that doesn’t last very long.

Yep, bad html. They have a height set on the ICYMI element and it should have been set to “auto”

No hulu girl, no deposit.

Drove to Hell and back once with friends. It’s half way between Lansing and Detroit, MI. It was rather uneventful, at least compared to some of the other road trips we had.

Best advice I got at my first track day was to write a check out to cash for the value of your car and tape it to the dashboard. Touch it every time you cross the finish line and ask yourself if you can cash the check or not. If you can’t, you drive accordingly.
