This was my thought.  Just wait until the pipe’s valve gets stuck in the “open” position and the entire state becomes the world’s largest saltwater lake.  As long as they can deploy enough sandbags around SLC’s fine craft breweries, I’m good with that outcome.

Honestly, it would probably be an improvement to replace the entire state of Utah with ocean water.

So, this proves the Bible is right about Noah’s Flood because there is enough water underground to cover the entire Earth higher than Mt. Everest. God Bless you Mr. Mandelbaum. No more of that scientific crap.

As a legal construction “actually innocent” is very dangerous. It enables a semi-official cloud of suspicion to hang over those who have been acquitted. It also enables the state to avoid culpability for wrongful conviction.

Was there some sort of oil spill in that area a few years ago. Maybe all the detergent/dispersant that was used helps a bit with the problem. the millions of gallons of oil may not have helped the problem.
