God, I HATE that everyone I know loves NCIS. I tried to watch it once and could not believe the stock characters and annoying dialogue. Ugh. The Americans gets a lot of critical acclaim, which is good for a smaller network like FX, so I bet it's safe.

Matthew Rhys played the gay brother Kevin on Brothers and Sisters, and he was freaking brilliant!! The best part of the show (and he had a hot husband, Scotty…lucky guy).

It was amazing the first two seasons, then went downhill a little at a time. My husband and I finally stopped watching about 2011.
