Villeneuve literally stated that he delayed his movie to give time for Covid vaccinations. Christopher Nolan went “nah if you love cinema you’ll risk your life for my movie”. If you can’t see the difference, you’re probably also one of those people that think Nolan movies are “cerebral”.

At this point it seems like the fanboys of this game and obnoxious Tesla defenders are just a solid circle. The same type of people whose only takeaway from The Matrix was “wow, sunglasses and trenchcoats look cool”.

These death threats, while real (although the true volume of which they’ve received remains a mystery), certainly came out around the same time as these announcements of the delay being withheld from the devs and the 100 hour work week. Sure it’s just a narrative-shifting coincidence, though.

With the way that Sony keeps cautioning how tight PS5 supplies will be, it would also probably be a lot easier to stockpile and sell the PS5 when it’s a bit more equalized with demand.
