...but what if Auntie Big Ma already knows and the joke has been on us the whole time. Shit.

The fact that Vixen had memorized her argument with Eureka, so much so that she actually lip-syncs along to the footage, tells me everything I need to know about her. When you enter the season saying that you’re looking for a fight, don’t whine about the fact that you get in fights.

Yes this series can get goofy - Rocky beating up communism is way the hell over the top -but I will fight anyone who says that Stallone doesn’t have acting chops. He was great in the first Rocky, Rocky VI was goddamned brilliant and I loved the hell out of the first Creed. Jordan works with Sly perfectly - they have

I feel so much more enriched by reading some history of Pope County and the Lusk family ferry operation. Thanks for helping me waste a few minutes at work!!

This is clearly a failed organization that is rotten to its core and must be dismantled. It claims its mission is to serve the community, but it sows fear and hate and deserves to be destroyed.

I think they nod to how this particular case of sexual harassment is a product of the culture of academia. Same with my comment: I’m not suggesting that we ignore sexual harassment. More that we address all the exploitative practices that exist in the academy.

Academia has so many skeletons in its closet it’s a wonder the closet hasn’t exploded. The whole system is set up to fundamentally exploit labor to an extent that’s mind boggling. Predatory sexual behavior is sadly but one of the many consequences, none of which are likely to be curbed anytime soon.
