Having a military defense saves so many lives. If you think getting rid of the US military would lead to a non-violent utopia, I have thousands of years of history that says you are wrong and massive amounts of people would die.

Most of the people who knew him say that he was. However, there’s a big difference between college/academic debating and political debating. Cruz seemed to lean too heavily on the latter here where the point is to create a sound bite rather than to make a point and the end result was that he failed at both.

Cruz is knowledgeable and a good debater. He knows exactly what he’s doing. He doesn’t care what the right answer is, he is only going to present what supports his arguments. His only goal is to make her look bad.
