Johan's last name is Johnson? Both sides of the family have the same last name? Was that mentioned before?

I saw it last week. Believe it or not, it's even worse than it looks.
The mere thought of that movie fills me with white-hot loathing.
Funimation made a huge blunder by trying to push Your Name into last year's animated feature Oscar category. They would have had a much better shot this year.
I got distracted by Redmayne's head wobbling intensely every time he sang.
Without getting into spoilers, there are definitely a few intense scenes that had some of the other people in my screening audibly screeching. I had to look away once, and if you've got a thing about teeth in horror movies, I'd stay away.
I actually joked elsewhere that Trump would probably claim that he called up the president of the Academy and demanded that she cancel the ceremony, and she immediately agreed and then begged for his forgiveness, and his moronic followers would probably believe him (especially because the Academy president is a black…
Yes. This point seems blazingly obvious to me, and I don't know why people don't see it. If the Oscars were cancelled, he and his minions would 100% claim that as a victory. It would be like giving a kid a hot fudge sundae to punish him for being bad. It doesn't make any sense.
I don't understand how the elevator to Lucifer's apartment works. It seems like anyone can just walk into his place any time they want—-there's no door, and it doesn't appear that you need a key for the elevator.
Garrett Hedlund, finally harnessing that swagger for a real performance
It seems like Tracy Letts is suddenly everywhere.
Yep, I think you're pretty much on track. The interesting thing about this year is that I love several of the contenders (including the big three frontrunners), and I haven't actively disliked any of the ones I've seen. The closest I've come is Sully, but that's not really dislike, more of a *shrug*.

Sure. These are the ones I've seen and which I would be fine with getting a Best Picture nomination:
No. There were plenty of very good/excellent films released this year (and I'm not even counting the December movies I haven't seen yet).
