the show was actually cancelled near the end of production for season 3 - the scripts has already been written (aside from having to re-write "honor" to make it the final episode after the order was cut down from 20 to 13) & most of the episodes had already been animated before they got the axe.

I wasn't much of a fan of Brent's songs, but was worried he was some sort of integral part of their sound that couldn't be made up for in the studio. The first time I gave Moms a spin I breathed a sigh of relief; I've actually come to consider it their best album front-to-back.

agreed - "one horse" at the end of side B really fucks up the flow, which is a shame, because the albums sounds phenomenal on vinyl. i've heard bands will re-sequence because of the time constraints of a side of vinyl, but it just simply doesn't make sense to plop a total album closer right in the middle of the album.…
