I believe you're right. Her beautiful body looks like it was painted to resemble a Hostess cake.

Even if he did cheat, their brand (which isn't really even a brand) is all they have so, you see, staying together is mandaTORI.
"Don't change things! Ignorant people love things!"
Oh jeez. Really? No. Nooooooo.
Lawn jockey's are likely a way of letting you know that the people inside of the home likely have a golliwog doll and everyone should stay far away.
They hold a place in the childhood of our parents' and grandparents' generation. I don't really "get it", either... But I'm glad that our generation recognizes the symbols of racial insensitivity. Or... At least most do. Stupid Bieber.
Thank you. You read my post exactly as I meant it. It's definitely a saddening factoid... But it might explain why Justin (at such a young age) would have found that joke "funny". It would likely be funny where he's from and it's likely where he learned it. Ugh. I'm so glad I moved.
I'm also not giving him an excuse by saying we should forgive him because he was young. I just want to make that clear, too. He's ignorant, young or older. He should be held accountable for saying such an awful joke and thinking it would be funny.
Yup. It has British origin. Pretty old-fashioned, but it has a sentimental place in the hearts of those who are pretty ignorant.
I'm not giving him an excuse to rely on, I'm simply explaining the root of why he thinks these jokes are "funny". They're "funny" where he is from. That's not an excuse... That's the truth.
Thank you. I really expected more of a response from her. I'm hoping she went home and Googled why they were bad, but... she probably didn't.
VERY good reply and supplement to my original post. I'm sorry that happened to you. I'm hoping you live somewhere much better now!
Yep. I know.
Port Hope to be specific. I haven't gone back in a few years, so I'm hoping that store is no longer there.
They certainly should have died out a long time ago. That's for sure.
Gah. That's heartbreaking. They seem to be so popular in Europe.
Stratford isn't "right outside of Toronto", because I grew up in a small town that is ACTUALLY right outside of Toronto and racism was still an issue. I imagine it is in Stratford as well.
They're pretty common in Newfoundland, too, sadly. They're pretty connected to their British roots there, much like where I'm from in Ontario. I got the same response. Absolutely and embarrassing and shameful.
Thanks for the questions, and of course I don't have a problem answering. It's a good thing to wonder.
I know, right? Now imagine how shocking it is to walk into a store and see a whole WALL of them.
