Greatest. It has D-Day from "Animal House" and Billy Blanks gritting his way to a touchdown.

I can't tell whether or not that's a shot at The Last Boy Scout, I look forward to this film.
You're one of those self-righteous hypocrites that call her bad, and criticize mama for turning her out no matter how little they had.
I always figured it was a psychotic episode.
Yes! Step Up, Empire Records, and Grandma's Boy ARE as good as I've always said!
Is Santa wearing pants in the commercial?
Apologies. I should have been clearer. Those artists were excellent. I seriously question whether or not Cole Alexander can distinguish them from the explosion of artists in the early 2000s.
I'd listen to a country song about a truck before I'd listen to his preferred type of rap. Jedi Mind Trick is plenty fucking violent and angry; they're also very skilled, unlike most the rap coming out of Atlanta (at least the kind he seems to enjoy).
I'm maybe 3 drinks and a bad day in court from espousing the sort of ideology that would get me banned from this site, and I wouldn't say something so out-and-out stupid at that. I wonder if this guy's ever heard of Jedi Mind Tricks or R.A.the Rugged Man.
Look at the white boy from Atlanta using words like ghetto and ratchet. He at least cops to knowing fuck all about Takapuna. I love a suburban white guy discussing the authenticity of pain in rappers' voices.
He would certainly seem to be in the wrong.
Not necessarily. We'd also have to define anti-civicmindedness, which I doubt would have the same definition in Russia that it does in America.
I'm closer your second option, although I'm not in favor of Russian-style political repression in America. For one thing, the failure of the Occupy Movement indicates that Russian-style repression isn't necessary for the ruling class to maintain its power.
I'm all for moving beyond concepts like "good and evil" and "right and wrong". They're so weighed down with cultural baggage that they're useless.
"I thought we killed the moral relativists decades ago?" This thread is overrun with them, all expressing outrage because, ultimately, "it's wrong". They have no grounds to argue that Putin's actions are wrong; all they can do is beat their fists and shout about rights (whose source they can't define).
I know the foundations of moral and cultural values; I also know why those foundations are useless today. I didn't kill God by treating His existence as immaterial to how I lived my life.
I could say the same to you.
If a government not suppressing criticism is a good thing, then free speech is a good thing. You haven't established that a government not suppressing criticism is a good thing.
I don't know that spontaneous combustion would qualify as a homicide.
I've never heard love for one's enemy described as a Western value; I would also note that your use of the term "civil rights" undermines your argument. The root of "civil" is "citizen", implying some sort of polity. We aren't, to my knowledge, part of any polity that also contains the Russian Federation. I…
