MOBAs definitely have alot of depth, and DotA2/LoL especially are anything but "simple". They have a very steep learning curve, and its their complexity that actually turns a lot of people away from them. To be competitive you have to have a deep understanding of the mechanics of dozens and dozens of characters, good

You greyist! :'-(

Unreal Engine 4 is now free for anyone to tinker with, so at the Game Developers Conference today, Epic Games debuted an impressive real-time demo to show it off. Hold onto your kites...

According to Engadget, it sounds like the Morpheus is lacking in the comfort department:

The Order 1886 is a much higher profile game and was pitched as a system seller/killer app type game, whereas Bulletstorm wasn't.

Nice writeup. I actually just picked up a used copy of this recently for like $6, looking for a good, "pure" FPS. Haven't gotten to it yet, but looks like I won't regret the purchase.

Well not to be nit-picky but the non-gold mario is in a different pose ;-)

Are you saying you want a single, unified eShop that has things like cross-play, and where you only have to pay for a game once?

That coupon's graphic definitely needs to be updated. Everyone knows the internet really looks like this.

Good to see some progress with the adapter...but May? I hope thats an over-estimation on gamestop's part, because if its really taking nintendo over 2 and a half months to manufacture and distribute these fairly simple accessories, there's something wrong there.

Man, those visuals are stunning. If it plays as buttery smooth as it looks like it does, it very well may give Tiny Wings a run for its money as my favorite endless runner.

Calling it pixelated is definitely warranted, or at least grainy by comparison to the small 3DS.

Well seeing as how both models have the same display resolution, and the XL's physical screen size is larger, the images will be more stretched and pixelated (i.e. it has a lower pixel density), so yeah games definitely do look better on the smaller screen.

The pub cares about the Metacritic score because it's a proxy for quality

The new "small" 3DS also has slightly bigger screens than the original small 3DS. Its pretty much the sweet spot between screen size and video quality/pixel density.

I'm guessing you are referring to the original "regular" 3DS? Because as far as I know, the new regular 3DS is just as thin as the new 3DS XL. Plus the screens on the new regular 3DS are slightly bigger than the original, so you pretty much get the best of both worlds.

Its Melee, the gamecube game, not Brawl, that is so popular in competitive/tournament-level play. :-) Brawl is actually the most despised game in the series by the competitive scene, because of its more slowed down, "casual friendly" gameplay. Smash for WiiU actually looks like its got a decent competitive following

Actually, they are neither. The WiiU uses a proprietary disc format that is similar to the specifications of Blu-ray, with a capacity of about 25GB. Standard dual layer DVDs support a max capacity of only 8.5GB.

Screw 8-player mode, when are you shipping more gamecube adapters, Nintendo?! :-(

Agreed. This is primarily the reason why I haven't picked up smash for 3DS. Even on my XL, the characters just are too small to see their movements and actions clearly.
