Mostly the Paleo/raw food idiots and the AntiGmo idiots.

So what you’re saying, is that the paleo diet causes cancer... Got it!

Well it IS a modern disease!

I doubt they do, we just don’t have the historical context in place. It’s like other odd facts, you know? Like the popular ones regarding timespans and how we process it-eg. Jesus was closer to Miley Cyrus than to the Egyptian Pyramids, or a T-Rex was closer to us than to a Stegosaurus.

“....In archives going back to 1995, this has never happened before....”

This one bit of space age technology justifies NASA’s entire operating budget. Great men, all of them.

Cocktail aficionado here. Gonna get some of that stupid swirly sparkly bullshit liqueur and run it through ice and serve it in these with a stupid sci-fi name like ‘Warp Drive’ and make a mint.

I don’t need any help in the spilling department.

Borrowing similar physics principles to Quantum Locking (also known as “Flux Pinning”), our Levitating CUP uses magnetic levitation, or more specifically “Electromagnetic Suspension”, in which electromagnets are used to stabilize the levitating cup which has a magnetic base.”

Urgh... it’s the same magnetic trick that

other than the price, the material would be the deal breaker then.

Floating might not change the flavour, but your lips meeting something other than cold glass? That’s a different matter.

I’ve got a floating, rotating plant - does that count

This has absofuckinglutely NOTHING to do with quantum locking.

What you said.

An array of these set up beneath a table could make for the coolest chess set EVER.

Cue the huge Kickstarter donation from Bounty paper towels.

I think the bigger issue was the deceptive lending practices. Now you tell people upfront what kind of payments they will be required to make, not a teaser intro rate while neglecting to mention their payment will triple in a few years.

Check out superfluid helium someday. It doesn’t even require you pour it - it will spontaneously start creeping up the sides of a vessel, and if you let it flow into another larger vessel into which the first has been set, it will keep flowing until the levels inside and outside the inner vessel are equal...

That sounds perfectly reasonable. On Earth, heat is released during storms by the condensation of water and ice droplets. Similar processes, although not necessarily involving water will be going on inside Jupiter.
