I'm still waiting for someone to develop an app that has it's own menubar icon, but allows you to put other menubar icons into it's menu. So, instead of a bajillion icons in my menubar, I have one... you click it, and a dropdown menu appears with all of the menubar icons of the other apps.

Isn't this a somewhat self-defeating statement? It's not hard to program, but you need the software to do so...which is hard to get.

True, however, I suppose I assumed that went without saying, and I was speaking more of words within the title. LOL :)

I think if the artist spells it ridiculously, it's artistic license, so I'll do it.. but capitalization is usually standardized (i.e., I'd use "Tik Tok"). But if they just apply capitalization to every word in the title, I'll correct that. Usually I find the worst words are "the", "a", and "of".

Just call your carrier and ask them to block all incoming texts. Most carriers have two levels of 'no texting plan'. There's the 'you don't want to pay us a flat fee, so we'll screw you to the tune of 10-25 cents per message—incoming and outgoing', and then there's the 'I said I don't want texting at all, and God damn

You can't walk faster than elderly folks? :)

I'm partial to Easy CD-DA Extractor from Poikosoft. I've been using it for over 7 years, and it's always been the best at what it does, at least for me. Integrated CDDB/MusicBrainz lookups so rarely do you have to enter metadata. If you're OCD like me about song titles, you may have to glance thru the metadata and

Speaking of the logic hat... take-off and landing are the two times when they make you turn off your gadgets, right? Take-off and landing are the two times where most accidents occur, right? And you probably want to be aware of what's going on around you at that point. Making the connection yet, or is your logic hat

I can see this being used in XP, but for Vista and Win 7: Tap Windows key, type cmd, hit enter. Tap Windows Key, begin typing Power Options, select with arrow key, hit enter. Tap Windows Key, begin typing disk management, hit enter. See where I'm going with this?

It's a little more complicated than most, but it's incredibly powerful. :)

Go into BIOS and look for a Memory tab or section. Many BIOS utilities will tell you exactly what you have installed in each slot.

SplashID and mSecure are great alternatives for that type of info. Both are cross platform, and support most mobile platforms as well.

Anything with the Linksys name on it is a good bet. The E1550 is nice, as is the E2500. I personally have the E4200 (top of the line at the time), and absolutely love it. The E2500 may be a better bet for you if you live in an apartment building, as it is dual band, which means you can use the 5GHz band if all your

While a little higher than your stated price range ($199 at my last check), I absolutely love my V-Moda Crossfade M-80's. They're an "on ear" style headset, so they don't seal out sound incredibly well and aren't great for loud environments, but for home and office use, they're a great buy. Sound quality, in my

It's funny to read all the naysayers claiming that it's impossible for the author to have done this, that it can't be true. Sure, Ramit's site reads like an ad selling you the latest As Seen on TV crap, but if you get past all of that and actually get down to the core concepts of what he's selling (here's a hint: you

When do you get off your ass and actually LEARN how to do it? You can't expect someone to just teach you how to "make money"... Has the world forgotten the concept of "work"?

For the most part, I use text or (gasp!) telephone to talk to friends & family. I use email for work, and I grudgingly use Office Communicator at work for IM. I hardly ever use AIM anymore, so little that I never sign in at home, only at work because I can't be bothered to uninstall Trillian which starts at login.

Levi's 559. I have the same issue, and had no problems with the 559.

Honestly, refinancing your car may not be your best bet. Most often, you'll have to extend your loan to get a lower payment, or to get a lower interest rate. You're best off just paying the loan until it's done, you probably have what, a year or two left on the note? If you can afford making your monthly payments, you
