@comodidit: haha, they still call them "raves"?

@corypina: The problem is, if you're going to get a 1080p screen, and then run your computer through it, the resolution will only be 1920x1080. On a 26" or so monitor, that's not a big deal sitting in front of it, but when you get up into the 42"+ range, sitting in front of it for a computer monitor will start to look

@pinecone99: This is definitely a carrier issue. I have a similar issue with "local" calls from my office. We just had a new PRI (Primary Rate Interface—Basically digital phone lines) put in at my office... when dialing outbound to even local numbers, we have to dial 1+Area Code+Number. When dialing out over our

@bphall74: Ah, gotcha. I support SharePoint in my organization, and I've found that some of the best resources are the Microsoft Press books. That and anything you can find in the O'Reilly books series are worth their weight in gold.

@bphall74: You're better off asking your actual question rather than asking who knows something about SharePoint & InfoPath.

Haha, yes, and the default privacy settings is "Everyone can read your messages. All of them."

@send9: Definitely not a hardware issue. Google "macbook trackpad drag stuck". Can't be THAT widespread if it's a hardware issue, especially when all these issues started the day Apple pushed out the Trackpad Update just before the release of the bluetooth magic trackpad.

But does it fix my macbook's multitouch trackpad. I'm tired of it getting locked in drag mode.

Hey Jason, the link to "our previous guide" under Disk Utility has a broken link in it. If you click the Hackzine article HOWTO, it takes you to a 404 page.

@Prairie Moon: New England isn't so bad right now. It's been in the 70's the past 2-3 days around Boston, and today it's 57.

VOTE: TrueCrypt

Oooh, a whole new generation of fart apps!

@freedomweasel: I believe the ASL logs might be specific to Mac OS, however, I'm sure Linux has something similar. It's probably handled better in Linux, or there's some kind of automated cleanup of the log files. I don't think Mac OS has an auto-rotation of these particular logs.

Well timed! Just tried opening my terminal this morning and it took 10 seconds!
