If anything, that would make me MORE worried since it’s built by hand by people who KNOW that it’ll be a demo/shown to the public, and they still didn’t give enough of a shit to make the panels line up.

Automakers are already ahead of compliance dates too for the most part. It’s not like they’re going to go back to the drawing board and say, “Well, what can we do to reduce MPGs?”

I read the NYT article this morning. The thing that jumped out at me was this:

WTF is the purpose of trying to roll back emissions standards if basically all of the major manufacturers have already agreed to it? Oh yeah, the same thing that causes these morons to constantly shoot themselves in the d!ck... “owning the libs.”
