That article kind of makes me hate Pat Metheny now...someone I held in much higher regard musically than Kenny G.

he was actually, they toured together.

Yeah, the Brave and the Bold was great. I think it’s just more of a trend thing as superior shows like Adventure Time, Steven Universe, Gravity Falls, Over the Garden Wall were extremely successful so that’s just kinda the trend the shows have gone.

Uh, this seems clearly tied to the movie aquaman more than any other aquaman series.

My kids watched a lot of Marvel and DC animated shows 8-10 years ago, and I kind of tuned them out in the background, but every time Aquaman showed up on Batman: The Brave and the Bold I dropped what I was doing to watch it along with them.

I don’t mind a less serious take on Aquaman, but I just don’t think I can’t get past the art style of this. I’d rather have a spinoff about Batman: The Brave and the Bold’s Aquaman.

Barsanti’s a superhero and his archvillain is the Strawman.

I get it, but TTG is way more accessible for younger kids. It’s one of the only reasons my elementary school aged students know any DC characters besides Batman and Wonder Woman (Superman they really don’t mention- they sometimes mention the Flash. They might be watching the TV show of the Flash on Netflix)

I guess you missed the last sentence in my post.

Outrageous.

I mean, this is fine because I don’t think anyone would be offended by this happening to Aquaman but more to the point is when they did it with Teen Titans and Thundercats, I think most people who were critical of the style was because the other versions had to die for TTG and TCR to exist.

Release the starfish cut.

I’m in favor of comedy Aquaman, the fish talker, I just wish it wasn’t so ugly.

Dear Mr. Barsanti,

I am always in favor of Thomas Lennon receiving a paycheck.

Do you see any of these hypothetical elitist nerds complaining about that stuff in these comments? No? That’s because Barsanti scared them off with his tough talk.

Agreed, although my sentimental favorite is Norman Alden on the The SuperFriends. And if you don’t know who Norman Alden is, think of Back to the Future.

And he banged Marilyn Monroe!

If he doesn’t shout OUTRAGEOUS! then this was all for naught.

John DiMaggio will forever be the best voice of an animated Aquaman.
