yes it kind of feels like a regress from all her other work, but maybe the album will have a few more songs with a little more bite.

I definitely heard “Freedom ‘90" in there. Glad it’s not just me.

it’s more Amber than Green light!

Sounds more like a mash up of Faith and Freedom ‘90 by George Michael.

Cool she re-emerges as the love child of Bjork and Greta.

Damnit, I like the song but now I’ll never be able to think of it without thinking of Sheryl Crow

I don’t mind that it sort of sounds like a crap version of early-90s Primal Scream, more that it reminds me “Soak Up the Sun” by Sheryl Crow.

How is this a pr nightmare? K

I’ve never been interested in Lorde until I saw the cover for this album.

Yayaya, I am Lorde.

“No artist wants their work to leak and fumble the meticulously coordinated launch of a new era, unless they’re on some Banksy nonsense.”

It’s more likely to just be "PR".

Damn, Randy is looking great!

These days a leaked single doesn’t even register as a “PR nightmare.”

Yeah, I hoped, but when the Darkhold came up on WandaVision and AoS was never mentioned it seemed like it was officially irrelevant.

I definitely had a brief moment where I thought this episode was going to officially re-canonize Agents of Shield into the MCU. Would’ve been an appropriately weird way to do it.

But it still comes as a shock because it seems so unlikely that the TVA would let another version of Loki get away when they’re so good at containing this one. The end of this premiere leaves plenty to speculate about. Is this other Loki splintered from a different moment in time?

Now playing

I wouldn’t have thought of Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson as a natural comedic duo

Also who else thought we’d see Agents of Shield references during the film?

You have to do it though because you have to set up the show for someone who clicks on the show and hasn’t seen all the MCU stuff. Maybe your friend/aunt/mom/dad/uncle/blurgle is a big Own Wilson fan and is seeing MCU weirdness for the first time. You have to set the stage.
