I wonder if Netflix would take a run at it.

Good for AT&T! It couldn’t happen to a nice international conglomerate!
Does Discovery Inc. make anything that isn’t ephemeral trash?
finally we can see super man vs captain america on the big screen!
I’m no corporate bigwig but, honestly, if I was Tim Cook, I would seriously consider having Apple buy it. Apple is trying to develop a media empire but, while TV+ has some great content, the branding isn’t working and they are blowing a ton of money. Blow a little more and you have a ready made media empire with one…
Just imagine if Disney bought Time Warner putting DC and Marvel under the same umbrella.
This episode was graded generously. I thought it was pretty awful.
Yeah, I don’t get how he can go by just “Joss” on legal documents if his birth certificate is “Joseph.” Do stage names work that way?
Joss Stone says “Joss” is a girl’s name
His first name is Joseph? Why didn’t he use that, or Joe, all along? I don’t think I ever heard Joss as a name before this guy. It’s a stupid name. The newly elected president of the United States doesn't go by Joss Biden. You wouldn't take him seriously.
This would have been a much better hook for the aritcle.
I’m surprised at how much this piece seems to have bothered some folks. I get it: you love Buffy and/or Angel, but “Haha, a bureaucratic inconvenience is happening to a dude who reportedly sucks, and it’s all because he is dumb and uses an assumed name on important documents” is a take I can very much get on board…
I somewhat enjoyed this piece of fluff, but to all you people who hate this article:
I’ve heard complaints about how dare Janes Espenson and Marti Noxon (these two being singled out probably partly because they’re women) not speak out against Whedon. Nevermind that... maybe (I’d guess even probably) they never experienced any problems when working with him? They wouldn’t often be on set, and neither…
Subject: Whedon has weird document mistakes
Appreciate the aside that there are lots of GOOD reasons not to use one’s birth name, but this isn’t one of those occasions for, um, reasons
The point is, if Joss Whedon doesn’t find his birth certificate quick, he’s going to fade out of existence, Back to the Future-style.
I always reckoned Marti Noxon was a huge part of Buffy considering the huge tonal and thematic shifts in the second season, but it really drove it home when I watched the first season of UnREAL and it was like "damn this show depicting a fictional reality-TV show has a shockingly similar vibe to Buffy seasons 2 and 6…
I wish “Celebrity Bureaucratic Snafus” was an alert I could subscribe to in that box over there.
