When did Remo Williams get claws?

Didn't read it but don't like it, and the past is the same as the future. Understood.

So now we go from a civics disagreement to a grammar disagreement. In your reply to the original poster, you said "has taken tens of millions of dollars." That's past tense. It indicates that you're describing something that has already happened. My response pointed out that this has not happened.

The federal government was not allowed to fund abortion since long before Trump got into office, with very few exceptions (Medicaid in cases of pregnancy from rape and incest). It's been that way since 1977, as per the Hyde Amendment. Here's a source, since the left and right just love making uninformed statements

"Yeah! I member!"

The FCC doesn't have jurisdiction over cable since it's not being broadcast over the public airwaves.

Exactly! One could say "east Philadelphia" and point to the easternmost portion of it on a map, but locals wouldn't refer to it that way. Knowing that with Philly it's the Northeast—yes, somehow "great" gets tacked on a lot—shows local knowledge.

I know, I know. I was just pointing out the obvious fact that there is a part of Detroit that is "south Detroit" by definition, even though the locals wouldn't refer to it as if it were a particular place. A town without a south would be like a piece of paper without a back, is kinda my point.

Yeah, I get it. I'm from Philly, and someone who was trying to convey street cred by referring to "east Philly" would be doing the same thing as someone referring to "south Detroit"; even though there's physically an eastern part of the city, just like there's a southern part of Detroit, it would be betraying a lack

Probably my favorite Journey song. Thanks for recognizing it!

I've heard this before, and I guess it means that nobody living there refers to "south Detroit." But of course there's a south Detroit. Just start in the center of Detroit. Go south. Stop right before you leave Detroit. Look around. That's south Detroit.
