I’d rather have cheaper Bings that are easier to set up and maintain, personally. That is a nice airhead with the exception of outdated poor front brakes.

I see a lot of K bike fans commenting and many posted some photos of some really good looking K-bikes. I know owners love these bikes, for good reasons. As a BMW airhead fan who owns two classic airheads, I love all things BMW so I wanted to love the K75. I borrowed a friend’s K75 similar to this one and sadly I hated…
Now that is a sweet K! It is really hard to make a gorgeous naked K bike but you have nailed it my friend.
Hot-rodding old outdated cars or bikes is a great way to individualize them and often times improve them or make them more desirable and valuable. People used to scoff at me for hacking up a BMW “classic” airhead that I bought for $2800. I butchered that piece of crap and built a custom that BMW loved so much they put…
With AWD and winter wheels on my F31 BMW wagon, it is unstoppable unless the snow is unplowed and over 8 inches! Which is pretty rare. Only once did I have to drive in 8 inches of snow before the plows came. That was the one time I wished I had a F150 with snow tires.
yikes. What kind of problems do you see with the 4 banger BMW engines? Mine is at 55,000 miles and out or warranty.... (also I managed to get my second free transaxle for my AWD.. that seems to be the weakest link in the driveline by far)
Correction: My 8-speed M-Sport is AWD and is an absolute beast in the snow with my dedicated winter wheels with X-Ice tires! But no swamp-dripping jet ski is allowed into my interior, so you win!
A fine car, your old 5 series... no bigger than my AWD beast with a much faster shifting 8-speed that also gets 32 mpg on the highway, but I like all BMW wagons, and the manual in yours is more fun to drive. I know the E39 well. A simpler car with far less things to break than my F31, but for a daily driver there is…
Mazda 6 wagon would be awesome here, and it is a nicer car than the CX-5, but let’s be honest here. Mazda doesn’t have it here for the same reason that BMW is canceling the North American wagon- people aren’t buying wagons here at a rate that the car company would make a profit. If they would make a profit, they would…
YEAH MO-FO!!!! That’s what I’m talkin about!!! I ahve the same Bimmer wagon. Well, the newer body style. I am SO bummed BMW decided to not bring the next model to the USA in wagon form. Here is a pic of my car carrying two huge wood slabs to make an L-shaped desk. The side slab seen on top is 8 feet long. All fit…
It really is gorgeous. (The new V60 and also the new v90) . Maybe I don’t need the sporty handling on my family car. 99.9% of the driving I do with our daily driver is either around town light to light or on straight highways. It is quite rare that I get to push my staggered sport tires close to their lateral limits.…
dude, my M-sport wagon was 60k back in 2014! Custom ordered with just about every option. But yeah, I guess that makes me off the side of every bell curve. I do see similar spec BMW wagons from time to time but it is a weekly or monthly appearance, not a daily one.
yeah it must be a neighborhood thing... In my little town on Long Island’s north shore, there are half a dozen F31 wagons. Wagons overall are popular in my neighborhood. Sure not as much as SUVs or sedans, but people still buy them. I have a feeling their buyers are like me, and they wouldn’t have any other type of…
ARRGG!!! Say it ain’t so. Dammit BMW, you just lost me possibly after being a new BMW buyer since my first 1999 M3. My current car, a 2014 M-Sport 3 series wagon, is the best car I have ever owned. ANd I still own my 2004 M3 which is a fun car but very narrow in scope compared to the do-it-all M-sport wagon. My wagon…
Well, I didn’t plan it that way. I got laid off from a job where I had a 401k. On a whim I dumped all of that money into just AAPL.
As a shareholder since the 90's with the vast majority of my portfolio in AAPL, I haven’t seen a bad Apple quarter in years. Sure, not every year can you sell more phones than the year before, but you don’t have to top your sales every single year in order to remain on the top. Apple shows no signs of slowing down…
Yup, good for Apple is the right conclusion. It may drive you crazy, but Apple will continue to make more profits than any other company on the planet for the foreseeable future, with all these polished new features coming out in iOS12. This is what people want.
So, you didn’t watch the keynote and see the live demonstration of the program in action? Why post here if you have no idea what you’re even talking about?
bad guess
Apple abandoned the old iChat video apps for FaceTime with didn’t have the option for more than 2 people. That probably didn’t bother too many users. Now you will have the option for huge group video chats. Is it worth celebrating? I don’t know anyone who is celebrating. But I can tell you my 12 year old daughter is…
