My vote goes to Steve Deberg.. 21 years in the league, got to know (i.e. got replaced by) some of the game’s greatest QB’s (Montana, Elway, Young) and for awhile in the 90’s he got to start with the Chiefs and led them to a couple of playoff berths.

He even made it to the Super Bowl at age 45...albeit with the Falcons.
