I’m a little confused as to how a dimly-lit hood ornament will cause a noticeable amount of light pollution when it’s bracketed by blindingly bright LED DRLs and headlights.  Or is the issue with the light being on when the car is off?  It honestly doesn’t make any sense to me.

The hyperbole is appreciated in the spirit (ahem) in which it is delivered, but let’s not completely dismiss this with snark, either.

Out here in the New York City suburbs, volume is back to pre-pandemic levels but the speeds have stayed up. Unfortunately the distracted twatwaffles who mostly hunkered down while we were in quarantine are also back, but with speeds up a solid 10mph they’re a much bigger danger. I feel like I actually see more…

I’m happy there are other people on the planet. If they could maybe either stay to the right or recover some of their pre COVID driving skills that would be nice.
