That’s just awful. I fail to see how lowering the speed limit for normal drivers is going to prevent some asshat from driving over 100mph. I don’t think his thought process was going to be “Well I’m driving 62 over the speed limit in a residential area, but if it was 67 that would be dangerous.”

My guess is that this is more a policy from Nissan than the dealership. The dealership can only be “well paid” by Nissan if Nissan has the money or desire to pay for the repairs. Since they are hemorrhaging money, I don’t think they want to cover warranty work.

I absolutely loved my RC-F. I got more compliments on it than any car I’ve ever driven, and you’d be hard pressed to find a better GT car in the price range. It’s not a sports car, and never will be. If you understand that, you’ll enjoy driving it.
