I clarified my statement in the reply.

Yes, I read that piece as well. I was taking issue with Musk’s statement as much as anything. I would like to see this issue settled as to whether social media platforms fall into the category of protected speech or whether they can apply whatever standards they feel like to their users.

Either way, Musk has to abide

I don’t see this as a First Amendment issue. Twitter can already decide, based on whatever secretive standards they have, who can and can’t use their platform and what constitutes an “inappropriate” tweet. Either Twitter is the technological equivalent of the town square and the First Amendment applies to everyone, or

I don’t know whether you are trying to be deliberately obtuse or just curt. I didn’t say it was a FWD vehicle. It’s a front wheel drive based vehicle. I don’t know at what point it starts to transfer power, if it’s a specific horsepower number, just when it detects wheel slippage, or some other factor. Obviously being

I guess it depends on how you define FWD. The CLA45 is FWD, but can send power to the back wheels when necessary. Mine only has 375HP, so I don’t know if they will be changing when power is sent to the rear when they add another 65 HP to the new model.

Considering AMG is squeezing out 420 HP from a 2.0L in their next CLA45 AMG, you would think VW could do a little better than 286 HP. That’s just not going to excite anyone to buy any special edition GTI over a regular one, especially if they don’t tweak the chassis enough to make up for the lack of power.

It can’t be that good. It has 8-bit camo.

I have almost 9000 movies and 36,000 television episodes on a Plex server. I still subscribe to Netflix and Amazon Prime, but if they continue to raise prices and lose content, I’ll just watch everything stored on local drives.

This thing had a curb weight of 5500 pounds. I just wanted to point that out as it was not specifically mentioned. That’s a lot of car to get moving.

Coming soon to a car lot near you!

Non-US headlights can shine a light array that just turns off the part of the array that would blind another driver when approaching from the front or behind. They can selectively toggle in real-time, so you can have high beams on all the time for your maximum visibility without endangering other drivers.

Headlight standards and regulations from the 50’s are ridiculous. BMW’s laser headlights are far and away the best I have ever seen and are, of course, illegal here because no one in 1950 thought futuristic space weapons would ever be used to light their way on a road.

I hate to break it to the North Korean military, but all North Korean attacks are suicide attacks.

Great. Now my chauffeur is going to have to carry crystal cleaner to clean the new hood ornament in addition to his normal duties. Thanks a lot, Bentley.

I drive a CLA45 AMG. I was skeptical that a 2.0L was going to deliver, especially after having a 5.0L V8 RC F. I was wrong. It’s hilariously fun to drive, and 3.8 seconds to 60 puts it in competition with a lot of high-performance cars.

Yes, it’s from a fairly obscure Dudley Moore movie called Crazy People. He’s an ad exec who ends up in a mental institution, but comes up with honest ads for all his accounts.

I don’t have a problem with this. In fact, I think it’s probably one of the most honest advertisements I’ve seen in a long time.

I think one of the issues is the way consumers are notified of a recall. Usually it’s a postcard mailed to the last known address of the person who owns the car. However, I still receive notices for a leased 335i I turned in over 3 years ago. Is the person that bought it getting those too? Am I missing ones on any car

This sounds like hyper-sensitive nitpicking.
