Yes, I read that piece as well. I was taking issue with Musk’s statement as much as anything. I would like to see this issue settled as to whether social media platforms fall into the category of protected speech or whether they can apply whatever standards they feel like to their users.

I guess it depends on how you define FWD. The CLA45 is FWD, but can send power to the back wheels when necessary. Mine only has 375HP, so I don’t know if they will be changing when power is sent to the rear when they add another 65 HP to the new model.

Considering AMG is squeezing out 420 HP from a 2.0L in their next CLA45 AMG, you would think VW could do a little better than 286 HP. That’s just not going to excite anyone to buy any special edition GTI over a regular one, especially if they don’t tweak the chassis enough to make up for the lack of power.

I have almost 9000 movies and 36,000 television episodes on a Plex server. I still subscribe to Netflix and Amazon Prime, but if they continue to raise prices and lose content, I’ll just watch everything stored on local drives.

They can selectively toggle in real-time, so you can have high beams on all the time for your maximum visibility without endangering other drivers.

Headlight standards and regulations from the 50’s are ridiculous. BMW’s laser headlights are far and away the best I have ever seen and are, of course, illegal here because no one in 1950 thought futuristic space weapons would ever be used to light their way on a road.

I drive a CLA45 AMG. I was skeptical that a 2.0L was going to deliver, especially after having a 5.0L V8 RC F. I was wrong. It’s hilariously fun to drive, and 3.8 seconds to 60 puts it in competition with a lot of high-performance cars.
